Air Supply Equipment
SY, Solenoid Valves - 4 & 5 Port
SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. A built-in strainer in the pilot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation. The SY is available in body ported or base mounted styles, and can be used individually or manifold mounted.
VP/VG, Safety Pressure Relief Valves
Special versions of the VP and VG series valves that conform to ISO13849-1 safety standard, categories 1 to 4. They are available as dual residual pressure release safety valves with detection of main valve position.
VP, 3 Port Solenoid Valves
VHS, Mechanical and Hand Operated Valves
The VHS series provides a convenient means of isolating supplied pressure in a pneumatic system and exhausting downstream pressure for maintenance purposes. The units can be locked in the exhaust position and can be an integral part of an energy isolation system. Air flow direction is easily identified by handle orientation and labelling.
IDG, Membrane Air Dryers
Membrane air dryer series IDG is available in a single unit or combination unit style. IDG/M models combine a mist separator and micro mist separator with a single unit. IDG/V models combine a regulator with the IDG/M model. Options available include one-touch fitting exhaust of purge air. If purged air is not exhausted around membrane air dryer, air is exhausted with tubing away from its dryer.
AMG150C-550C/AMG650-850, Water Separator
The AMG series water separator is installed on the air pressure line to remove water drops from compressed air. It is available in 7 sizes with a variety of optional combinations to meet your application requirements.
AFF, Main Line Filters
Series AFF is strongly recommended as a pre-filter for a refrigerated dryer to avoid fouling of the dryer's heat exchanger.
AM7/8/90D, Coalescing Mist Separator
The AM70~90D series of mist separators feature a lightweight stainless steel body for improved ease of handling during service. Flow capabilities are improved beyond the legacy AM series for extended applicability. Thes coalescing filters are nominally rated at 0.1 micron for an initial stage of oil removal after a particulate filter.
AMD, Main Line Coalescing Filters
Series AMD is a secondary stage of coalescing filtration to remove particles of 0.01 micron from compressed air. Applied properly, they can reduce oil carryover to 0.1 mg/m³ / 0.08 ppm or less (ISO8573-1 class 2 oil carryover).
AMH150C-550C/AMH650-850, Coalescing Micro Mist Separator with Prefilter
Series AMH is a high precision, micro-mist separator combined with a prefilter. The AMH can separate and eliminate aerosol state oil mist in compressed air and remove carbon or dust of more than 0.01micron. The AMH series is suitable for drying/cleaning pneumatic measurement instruments (air micrometer) and precision parts.
AME150C-550C/AME650-850, Adsorbing Super Mist Separator, New Style
Series AME separates and adsorbs aerosol state fine oil particles in compressed air and changes the oil lubricating compressed air to oil-free equivalent air. It should be applied for filtration of compressed air requiring high cleanliness for coating lines, compressed air for clean rooms and compressed air for equipment necessary to avoid oils.
AMF150C-550C/AMF650-850, Adsorbing Odor Removal Filter
Series AMF activated carbon filters adsorb oil vapors remaining after coalescing filters to provide nearly oil-free air. This legacy series features a rugged all aluminum housing for durable installation.
AC, Modular FRL Combination Units
FRL Units can be assembled with a variety of combinations. Add mist separators, pressure switches, shut-off valves to any combination of Filter, Regulator, or Lubricator to optimize flow rate and filtration ratings at point-of-use compressed air systems. ARG, Air Regulators with Built-in Gauge
Air Regulator series ARG is modular style with built-in pressure gauge, offers an optional, built-in backflow mechanism which enables reliable discharge of air pressure from outlet to inlet. The mounting angle of the pressure gauge is selectable depending on the piping direction, and with the anti-revolving mechanism (PAT.PEND.), the pressure gauge will not be revolved even after the handle is operated. "Note that the ARG-B has been released as a replacement for the ARG. While the ARG is still supported with inventory and no obsolescence date has been announced, we strongly encourage the use of the ARG-B for new applications"
E210/310/410, Modular Adapter
SMC'S new AC-A series of modular type F.R.L. unit is available in five sizes and is interchangeable with the existing modular AC line. The pressure drop across the regulator has been reduced creating a more efficient unit with a maximum set pressure of 100 psi. The element and bowl on the AW and AF series is now one-piece, making element replacement easier. Required maintenance space has been reduced by as much as 46% on the AF series, depending on the body size. Bowls on the size 30 and 40 are now covered with a transparent bowl guard, completely protecting them from the environment, and making the interior contents visible from 360 degrees. The base color of the new AC-A series is urban white, maintaining a clean, modern look.
AV, Soft Start Valves
Soft start-up valves enable a gradual initial pressurization of a system and quick exhaust by blocking the supply of air to minimize system shock.
KK130, S Couplers
S coupler series KK employs a unique connection method. A slim body design and large effective area are achieved with a construction that does not use steel balls or valve springs and therefore does not restrict the flow path. Together with a reduction of the body size, pressing parts and resin parts are used to achieve an overall weight reduction.
