SMC to Exhibit at IMTS 2026, Booth #135420

 

SMC Corporation of America is set to exhibit at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) from September 14-19, 2026, Booth #135420 (East Building, Level 3) and the Smartforce Student Summit at Booth #211920 (North Building, Level 1) at McCormick Place in Chicago.

As North America's premier manufacturing technology event, IMTS brings together industry leaders, innovators, sellers, and machine builders, to explore the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies.

At IMTS 2026, SMC will display solutions for metal forming, machining, fabricating, welding, and finishing needs that will improve productivity, address labor shortages, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate smart factory initiatives. In just the first half of 2026, U.S. manufacturing technology orders reached $3.44 billion, up 36% year-over-year and the strongest half-year performance since reporting began in 1998, signaling renewed confidence in advanced manufacturing investments. As manufacturers increasingly invest in automation, machine connectivity, and integrated production systems, SMC continues to deliver solutions that help customers improve efficiency, increase machine utilization, and build more resilient operations. These capabilities align with major industry trends highlighted at IMTS 2026, including smart manufacturing, digital twins, industrial AI, digital twins, and flexible automation.
